Starting out as a music major, I ultimately earned a BS and MS in Computer Science from West Virginia University. While at WVU, I worked at local web development companies and taught undergrad classes. Then, I moved to the DC area and worked at the National Security Agency for two years. After saving the world at NSA, I decided it was time to pursue my true passion by joining the video game industry. I realized I had been making games all my life starting with a text based adventure on the Commodore64 in 3rd grade and eventually making single and multiplayer DOOM levels. Clearly, it was time to follow the passion!

I formed Rabid Squirrel Games while at NSA to collaborate with friends on fun side projects. Shortly after, I joined Schell Games and moved to Pittsburgh to work on exciting projects. Four years later, and multiple shipped titles, I left Schell Games and moved to Los Angeles to join the Zynga LA office to work on Empires & Allies.

I really enjoy building things and entertaining people (that bit of music major will never die!). What better place to combine these passions than the game industry? I strive to create lasting memories in my players with deep gameplay experiences.
